Bodies that Speak
Embodied action produces language that needs and often has no words. It
produces knowledge revealed through visual and kinesthetic touch that penetrates
the many mediums of space. Here can be revealed unspoken meanings that
we find mark our bodies and inscribe our being. Working with the ways we
are changed by the dance and by one another we will clarify our actions
and the values of our movement materials to meet creatively, differently.
Bringing a sense of meaning to the engagement of our bodies, our touch,
and the space we exist in grounds our dance as an art of consequence.
